30 years ago we set a goal of creating a new wine culture in Thailand, at a time where no concept of wine existed in the country’s consciousness. In 1986 SPY WINE COOLER was born, the brand that was to open up a whole new world of win appreciation to the Thai public.

SPY launches its first product - SPY CLASSIC, with its easy to drink fruity taste suitable for anyone looking for a casual yet quality alcoholic beverage.
The high quality glass bottle and German imported foil labelling made SPY stand out in the local market and it quickly gained popularity, becoming an instant household name.
After enjoying success with SPY CLASSIC we began to follow up on that wave by developing products aimed at the male demographic.
SPY Dry and SPY XTRA were born, with a stronger alcoholic flavour at 7-10%.
SPY Wine Cooler continues to enjoy widespread success so we added 2 new products to the range - SPY RED and SPY WHITE.
These quickly became fan favourites and helped cement SPY’s dominance in the local alcoholic beverage market.
The SPY team continued pushing the brand forward in order to keep up with an ever evolving market.
In 1999 we updated to using 200 ml bottles due to demand, and extended our marketing efforts to reach the night-life crowd by introducing SPY to clubs and bars across Thailand.
2003 saw the first major redesign of the SPY brand. The result was a brighter, more elegant looking 275ml bottle design with a much more prominent, confident logo placement.
A few years later we revolutionised the brand once again by introducing the Cocktail range to the SPY family, using recipes imported from the USA.
Its bright and attractive colours made it stand out in bars and nightclubs everywhere and quickly became an instant hit internationally beyond the local market.
As the ready-to-drink market became ever more competitive we worked to stay ahead of the curve.
Since the SPY brand was already dominant with the female crowd we decided to focus once again on the male demographic with 2 new products: SPY GOLD and SPY BLACK.
In the same year we also updated the SPY COCKTAIL design and gave it more prominence as a standalone product running alongside the already successful Wine Cooler range.
We further expanded the SPY COCKTAIL range by releasing MOJITO LIME & MINT, as well as adding SPY GOLD MOSCATO to the Wine Cooler range - which uses Moscato grapes from Italy.

We launched the new SPY GOLD Series range, with its attractive shrink wrap sleeve and unique design that effortlessly exude quality.
